CVA and Robusta Course
On January 14th, 15th, and 16th, a CVA and Robusta course was held. The course was organized by the Costa Rican Coffee Roasters Chamber and CAFINTER.
During those days, we had the opportunity to share knowledge and bring innovation to our current quality processes, enabling more than 15 roasters from well-known national companies to refresh key concepts and stay up to date with globally trending topics.
Some of the topics covered during the training included:
- General overview of specialty coffee
- Specialty coffee cupping protocols
- SCA Coffee Value Assessment (CVA) System
- Descriptive sensory attributes
- Different types of evaluation
- Robusta coffee cupping
