On Tuesday, October 21st, CAFINTER was honored by the shipping line MSC (Mediterranean Shipping Company) as the leading dry cargo exporter in Costa Rica. The award was presented by Marcos Nascimento, General Manager of MSC, to CAFINTER's Country Manager, Juan Diego Araya, who was accompanied by the Traffic and Human Capital departments during the ceremony.

This achievement highlights CAFINTER's consistency, efficiency, and leadership within the export sector, reaffirming the positioning, scope, and strength of its international logistics operations, as well as the trust maintained with strategic allies in the supply chain. The recognition consists of an exact replica of the iconic MSC Seascape vessel, built in Italy. This piece is considered a symbol of excellence in global maritime trade; there are only 22 units in the world, making this gift an honor reserved for the shipping line's top global partners. It is worth noting that CAFINTER has used this specific vessel on two occasions for coffee exports, reaffirming the direct link between the company and the MSC fleet.
